Beaminster Museum is the local history museum for Beaminster and the surrounding villages.

Our permanent collection displays objects and images associated with local families, trades and schools, backed by a reference section of local books and audio-visual materials. For most of the year we also mount temporary exhibitions with local themes.

There is a Bee Trail and other activities, such as an energetic hunt-the-answer computer game, for younger visitors. We actively promote learning and discovery via winter talks and school visits.

We operate as a charitable trust, run entirely by volunteers and supported by our Friends.
